Agglomeration

Socaplast uses an agglomerator to process light plastic waste such as big bags, carpet fibres, light plastic packaging and films. Friction is used to heat the mixture in the agglomerator to a high temperature, producing a syrup-like consistency. Water is added during this process, causing the mixture to coagulate so that it is easier to process.
